Event description
Learn how to recognize the signs of an opioid overdose and respond quickly and effectively. This training provides step-by-step guidance on how to administer Naloxone (Narcan), a life-saving medication that can reverse opioid overdoses. Participants will also receive information on prevention, local resources, and how to support individuals at risk in the community.
Free Naloxone kits will be distributed to audience members, first come first served.
No registration is required for this event.
All events at the Glendale Public Library are public, and participants may be photographed by the media and/or City staff for future print and/or online publication.
