As part of the America 250 Concert Series, the Driftwood Quintet invites audiences to experience a fresh and engaging take on the nation’s musical heritage. Dedicated to connecting with new audiences through dynamic and educational performances, this accomplished ensemble brings the tradition of classical chamber music to life in an accessible and entertaining way.
Featuring woodwinds and rich ensemble textures, the program reimagines some of America’s most beloved and recognizable songs through the lens of classical instrumentation. From familiar melodies to timeless favorites, each piece is thoughtfully arranged to highlight both the artistry of the quintet and the enduring spirit of American music.
Blending education, artistry, and approachability, this performance offers a unique opportunity to hear the sounds of America in a whole new way—where classical tradition meets cultural nostalgia in celebration of the nation’s 250th anniversary.
All events at the Glendale Public Library are public, and participants may be photographed by the media and/or City staff for future print and/or online publication.
