Launch your journey into African music and culture with an unforgettable opening night featuring Baba Shibambo, Connie Avery, and their African Music and Arts Village residency at the Glendale Public Library. This dynamic concert brings the spirit of traditional African villages to life through rhythm, dance, storytelling, and the sounds of indigenous instruments. Serving as the kickoff to a week-long celebration, the performance invites audiences of all ages to connect, participate, and become part of a vibrant musical community.
All events at the Glendale Public Library are public, and participants may be photographed by the media and/or City staff for future print and/or online publication.
