Event description

Your fingerprints can reveal far more than who you are — they may also reveal what you've eaten, what medications you take, and even clues about your health. The tiny traces left in a fingerprint can contain chemical evidence from everyday life. Researchers are also exploring whether fingerprints could help detect conditions like diabetes and tuberculosis. Join Dr. Jang for a fascinating look at the many surprising ways fingerprints are being used in health research, forensic investigation, and environmental monitoring.

Registration is not required.

This program is presented in collaboration with the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at ASU.

All events at the Glendale Public Library are public, and participants may be photographed by the media and/or City staff for future print and/or online publication.
