Laugh and learn as we follow Sammy, a young saguaro, who isn't so sure about being a cactus. His Grandpa teaches him how important the saguaro is to the desert. The puppeteer will provide an entertaining and informative post-show discussion. First-come, First-served. The storied Great Arizona Puppet Theater has partnered with the Glendale Water Services Department and the Library to bring this performance to us. First come, first served. Tickets released one hour before the program. This program is part of Glendale Public Library's Summer Reading Program.

All events at the Glendale Public Library are public, and participants may be photographed by the media and/or City staff for future print and/or online publication.

Due to the construction in Murphy Park, if there is no parking available in the front of the library, you can find free parking in the downtown parking garage at 5835 W. Palmaire Ave.

Please arrive on time for registered programs. If you are more than 10 minutes late, your space may be given to another and you may be denied entrance to the program.
